Today I ran BF for the first time on city streets. I kept it to 3.2 miles as the surface was a bit more coarse then what I was used to. Kind of gritty as well with pebbles, etc. All in all it was a slow run, but a good run.
Think I'll start to alternate between Hammond trail, and city streets. The city streets will help toughen up my soles even more. I also hope to start running on the scenic drive south of Trinidad to prep my feet for the Trinidad to Clam beach run. I'm striving to do the 6 mile run.
I was never a runner prior to bare footing. So I've never done a organized run before. It's all new, and exciting to me. Each BF run is a challenge, and a lesson......
